Upon graduating from U.C.L.A film school, Stephen began his career as a Visual Effects Supervisor under the tutelage of Academy Award winner John Dykstra.

After writing/2nd Unit Directing on several low budget features, Stephen decided it was time to move into the director's chair. Stephen's writing/directing debut, HEADS N TAILZ proved to be the vehicle that first caught the eye of Ilya Salkind and launched Stephen's directing career.

The world premiere of HEADS N TAILZ was in Los Angeles at the2005 DANCES WITH FILMS festival where the film won the Fusion Audience Award. Moving to Europe, HEADS N TAILZ screened at the FESTIVAL DU CINÉMA DE BRUXELLES and the SWANSEA FILM FESTIVAL in Swansea Wales. HEADS N TAILZ recently received a Special Jury Prize from THE FESTIVAL DU FILM DE STRASBOURG. Stephen's director's cut of HEADS N TAILZ recently screened in competition at the 2008 EUROPEAN INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL in Paris, France.

2009 arrives with Stephen attached to direct his original screenplayTHE DIRECTOR.
